This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week. Must be able to provide flexible working hours, including early morning availability and some weekend hours, based upon participant schedules and lab requirements/deadlines.

This position is for the Program in Physical Therapy. Normal office/research lab environment with various levels of pressure due to multiple tasks. This position is for the Medical School Campus.
Provide patient recruitment, screening, scheduling, evaluation, data input/analysis support, human studies administration, and lab maintenance/coordination to Program research work on movement disorders (e.g. Parkinson disease) and rehabilitation.
1. Enter participant data into database. Routine analyses of computerized data according to protocol. Provide preliminary analysis support for laboratory and neuroimaging data. Perform computer entry to update study files and data. Perform statistical analyses on data to assist Principal Investigator (PI).
2. Assist Principal Investigator and other lab members in data collection and management. Open, prepare, and close lab facilities as part of testing procedures. Monitor supply of forms and all other supplies required by protocol. Assist PI in preparation, editing, and submission of manuscripts and grant proposals. Oversee and manage tasks for student Research Assistantships and work-study students.
3. Recruit, schedule, and assist with testing of research participants. Present study to various groups for recruitment and other purposes. Assist investigator in preparing paperwork in accordance with protocols. Maintain file system and ensure participant records are kept confidential. Act as liaison between research participants and investigators. Monitor and submit required paperwork for study protocols, such as participant consent forms and Human Studies protocols. Schedule participants for exams and test in accordance with study protocol. Create/transcribe correspondence, reports, protocols, manuscripts, and other documents related to study.
4. Other duties as assigned.
Equivalent of High School diploma.
Microsoft Office software experience needed for recording and maintaining patient/participant data. Previous statistical/research exposure desirable.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of patients and patient records. Ability and willingness to learn and use new software, especially statistical, database, motion analysis, and Matlab software.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required.
Bachelor's degree and experience is a research setting preferred.
The hiring range for this position is $38,147 to $47,673 annually.
