The primary purpose of the Supervisor position is the assist the Terminal Manager in the full range of duties and responsibilities involved in terminal management, to provide backup coverage when the Terminal Manager is out or unavailable, to gain a more in-depth knowledge and understanding of both the operational and administrative responsibilities of terminal management; and to develop and exhibit the necessary leadership, analytical/decision making and managerial skills in order to move into the Terminal Manager position.
Ensure the SAFE, Compliant and Finances of the terminal operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Terminal Manager in the oversight of the 24/7 Petroleum terminal operations with SAFETY and ENVIRONMENT being the highest priorities next to financial stewardship.
Lead, train and develop all Team Members.
Ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Be able to participate in customer meetings to build relationships.
Maintain and develop safety culture among all Team Members.
Ensure that Team Members receive the proper training to perform their jobs.
Routine interface with accounting, maintenance, engineering and other terminal support teams.
Routine communication and coordination with other corporate departments.
Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years Supervisory experience.
Strong organizational and leadership skills for a multifaceted work environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication
Detail oriented and customer focused.
Ability to troubleshoot operational problems.
Familiar with applicable Federal, State and Local regulatory agency requirements for handling, storage and transportation of products.
Must possess a valid drivers license and a driving record satisfactory to the Company and its insurers.
Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge, above the minimum requirements, not required but advantageous in this position.

Must be able to climb and balance well enough to mount equipment by climbing up and down steps as needed.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
While performing the duties of this job the Team Member is regularly exposed to a high noise level; moving mechanical parts, moving machinery, outside weather conditions and elements; fumes from gasoline, oil and grease.
