Provides immediate health care and rehabilitative care to the athletes.Provides prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation for athletic injuries.Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment.Distributes funds for meals and athletic trips.Assists in organizing and administrating the training facility.Travels with and provides support to varsity sport teams.Provides computer records of athletic injuries, illnesses and their treatments.Assists with supervision of the graduate assistant and student assistant athletic trainers.Maintains NATA certification, state license, and CPR certification.Assists in preparing purchase requests, purchase orders, and receiving reports.Assists in organization, administration, and preparation of athletic physicals.Distributes funds for meals and athletic trips.Assists with issues concerning insurance.Maintains medical files on assigned athletes.Ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with University, SEC Conference, and NCAA rules.Application Procedure: Applications and resumes for this position are accepted only via the internet at jobs.olemiss.edu.Deadline: Review of applications will begin immediately and position will remain open until filled or until an adequate applicant pool has been obtained.The University of Mississippi is an EEO/AA/Title VI/Title IX/Section 504/ADA/ADEA employer.
