Current Need

McKesson Omaha is seeking a self-motivated, reliable individual to join our night team as an order filler. Candidates should posses strong communication skills (written and verbal) and be team oriented. Candidates should have demonstrated a history of daily accuracy, productivity and efficiency and must be able to work overtime when needed.

The work week is classified as Sunday thru Thursday with projected hours of 6:30 pm - 2 am (projected hours are adjusted according to business needs and assignments).

Successful candidate must pass pre-employment Drug Screen and Background Screen.

Position Description

Responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. Pulls and fills orders. May use (but not limited to) power equipment such as a forklift, hand tools, and other devices operated in a warehouse environment. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.

Minimum Requirements

2+ years distribution experience

Additional Knowledge & Skills

1. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
2. Strong organizational skills - detail oriented.
3. Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
4. Basic computer skills preferred.


HS Diploma or Equivalent

Physical Requirements

1. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds for short distances and up to 45 pounds on an extended basis.
2. Must be able to walk at a brisk pace for the entire shift on a daily basis.
3. Must be able to stand for the entire shift.
