FOOD SERVER – FINE DINING
Summary Job Purpose:
The Food Server serves meals to guests in a warm, accommodating and professional manner ensuring 100% guest satisfaction

Licenses / Certificates:
Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification (Alcohol Awareness Education Certification).
Essential Job Functions:
Take food & beverage orders from restaurant customers. Input orders in to POS system. Deliver orders following required standards for the position. Prepare tableside items as requested by customer. Anticipate guests needs.
Complete all side work including but not limited to: wiping down stations, re-stocking supplies, etc.
Polish silver, buff glasses, set-up service cart, etc. in order to prepare tables and stations. Breakdown stations, carts and tables at close of restaurant.
Explain menu to the guests. Always check on quality of food and service.
Interact with co-workers and customers in a professional and polite manner.
Stand, walk, bend (at neck and waist), squat, kneel, twist (at neck and waist), push/pull, reach above and below shoulder level, as circumstances warrant for 100% of shift. Simple/power grasping, repetitive use of the hands and fine hand manipulation are needed to complete essential functions. Lift/carry materials (to a height of up above shoulder) that weigh from 1-10 lbs. on a constant basis, or up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis.
