Summary
Responsible for the transportation of guests, baggage handling and general informational resource for hotel guests.

Job Duties
Serves hotel guests by engaging in duties such as running errands, and giving information while providing the highest quality of guest service. Drives the hotel van to transport hotel guests to and from the train station, airport and bus station. Escorts incoming hotel guests to rooms, assists with luggage and offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest, and entertainment attractions. Explains features of room such as operation of radio, television, and night-lock, and how to place telephone calls. Delivers messages, faxes and runs errands. Picks up and delivers articles for laundry and valet service. Calls taxis for guests. Responsible for the cleanliness and daily maintenance of hotel vans. Responsible for signing out necessary keys and returning them at completion of shift. Keeps record of calls for service. Notifies Front Office Manager of guest comments.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred; or at least six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience.
