Position Summary

The Transport Clinical Manager has 24 hour accountability for the clinical, educational, and administrative activities of the various clinical care providers (i.e. registered nurses, respiratory therapists, neonatal nurse practitioners, and emergency medical technicians) The Transport Clinical Manager collaborates with the Assistant Directors of: NICU, PICU, NNPs, Respiratory Care, and Transport, plus the Transport Medical Directors to ensure the delivery of high quality patient and family centered care.

Knowlledge & Skills:
Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is a knowledge of:
Pediatric/Neonatal Transport Medicine
Flight Physiology
Current PALS and NRP (prefer instructor of one of the courses)
Quality improvement concepts
CAMTS accreditation standards
Word Processing Software
Spreadsheet Software
Clinical Documentation Software

Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is the ability to:

Education & Experience:
Current RN Licensure by the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners
CCRN preferred
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Minimum of 2 years transport nursing experience
