Advertised Summary Job Description

The Software Developer will use the best practices in software development to support the best practices in medicine, working with a multi-discipline team including world-renowned physicians and scientists to develop next-generation clinical software. He/she will creatively leverage recent technology trends, such as mobile devices and web services, to empower clinicians. He/she will grow and adapt to emerging technology from the present early stage, working toward an expansive vision. Specifically, the Software Developer designs, modifies, develops and implements software applications related to electronic medical record, medical image management and radiotherapy workflow He/she also develops software requirements and specifications for said projects and maintains the code quality. He/she also assists in the maintenance of related documentation. Verification of correctness in implementation and deployment of the technology is a key responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus at least four years of related experience in software programming and development.

  • Strong programming skills and self-discipline; - Proficiency in at least one specialty of the utilized technology stack and the ability to quickly learn the rest: C#/Mono, MonoTouch(iOS), ServiceStack, SQL, Apache, git, Ubuntu Linux, OSX, DICOM - Adaptability with the following patterns & practices: Agile, TDD, Always be Releasable, Code Reviews, REST, MVVM, Convention over Configuration
