Description

As a member of the Functions Learning Team, this position is responsible for facilitation, program management and coaching. This position will work across functions, with significant focus in Plant Operations and the deployment of Reliability Excellence.

In the Reliability Excellence area, this position is responsible for developing facilitator skills of Deployment Team Leads and Site Deployment Resources to enable successful delivery of Reliability Excellence (RE) courses. This includes providing facilitation and subsequent coaching to reinforce application of learning objectives. This role will work on special projects as needed to ensure the deployment and sustainment of Reliability Excellence processes in accordance and alignment with Cargill Corporate Reliability Excellence Governance.

In addition, this role will be responsible for managing the delivery of programs for the functional areas (e.g. Human Resources, Finance, IT). This position is responsible for achieving key measures such as program quality, business impact and budgetary expectations. Other important aspects of this role include program/project management, facilitation, ensuring appropriate and cost effective delivery methods.

Principal Accountabilities:
30% - Facilitation - Facilitate education to achieve established learning objectives. Utilize varying delivery methodologies (e.g., virtual learning, action learning and hands-on practice) to maximize impact and reach target audiences.

20% - Facilitator Skill Development - Develop facilitation skills of site, business unit and deployment team members through education and on-going support. Develop methods and approaches as needed to ensure cultural, language and business relevance for the respective facilities and locations.

20% - Coaching and Application - Coach to reinforce facilitator skill development and encourage application of RE learning objectives to support sustainment of RE at facilities. Provide on-going support for activities of deployment team and facility RE leaders.

20% - Program/Project Management - Manage scheduling, resource and logistical planning of ongoing and new functional development programs. Proactively identify, secure and/or prepare resources. Provide facilitation support, stakeholder management, coaching, and mentoring to ensure the programs are effectively executed.

Qualifications

Required:
Bachelor’s degree

5+ years of business experience

1+ years of meeting facilitation, teaching, or training

Project or program management experience

Ability to travel an average of 50%

Demonstrated mastery, skills and successful experience in developing the facilitation skills of other trainers and facilitators

Demonstrated skills and successful experience facilitating technical or leadership training for business or plant operations leaders and employees with ability to quickly establish rapport and demonstrate credibility.

Demonstrated impact on learning application on-the-job and results

Demonstrated knowledge, skills and application of adult education methodology, performance-based training and coaching

Strong collaboration, teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated with all levels of the organization

Ability to plan and execute work with minimal supervision

Global cultural awareness and experience in working with diverse teams

Self-starter with ability to work independently

Proven creativity and openness to new approaches and emerging change

Business fluency in English

Preferred:
Advanced education/degree in adult education, engineering, or other related field.

Virtual learning (e-learning, web-based delivery, etc.) facilitation experience

Proven plant operations or maintenance leadership or equivalent having direct operations experience and involvement in training and development initiatives

Performance consulting skills and coaching experience

Knowledge and experience with reliability based maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean and Six Sigma) and delivering related training

Strong leadership skills and presence to interact with all levels of employees
