This role is supporting the newly announced Digital Life Services organization. This group will be launching AT&T's connected digital home services including Home Security, Home Monitoring, Home Automation & Control, Home Healthcare, Personal Energy Management and other applications. Directs the development and implementation of the overall marketing strategy and programs for a startup business unit established to deliver home security, home monitoring, home control and other advanced Digital Life services. Directs resources responsible for market research projects undertaken to understand evolving customer needs, optimize the product roadmap, offerings and pricing. Direct resources responsible for analysis of competitor products, pricing, and positioning. Coordinates with technical organizations to identify emerging technical capabilities that can be employed in new products and services Directs development and maintenance of 3-year product roadmap including definition of new services to be introduced, service enhancements, and development priorities. Directs development and maintenance of Marketing Service Descriptions for existing and new services defining product/service features, prices, and marketing approaches Directs product managers responsible for managing market performance and profitability of existing services both retail and wholesale. Directs development and execution of advertising and promotion programs and coordinates with sales organization to support development of sales tactics and campaigns needed to achieve organization sales and revenue targets. Directs development and execution of customer satisfaction measurement plans and defines cross functional projects and programs required to meet customer satisfaction objectives. Recruits and staffs organization including building processes and procedures for a full functioning Marketing organization. Regularly interacts with senior managers and/or major customers. Interactions normally involve controversial situations, customer negotiations, or influencing and persuading senior level managers. Qualifications Required Qualifications: · 10+ years of progressive experience in Marketing and Business Strategy roles · 5+ years of experience directing development of consumer products and services · 2+ years of experience marketing home security, home automation & home control services.
