JOB SCOPE:

Generate business and increase revenues at the district level through sales of Weatherford products and services. Technical, Sales, and Managerial support for all operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain long term customer relationships.

Develop and maintain contact with key decision makers within the customer base.

Assist other sales personnel, customers and potential customers on the technical issues of the products of the GBU.

Train Field Service Reps. in the use of gas lift application software (ValCal, Dynalift, WellFlo, Troubleshooting ,etc.)

Train Field Service Reps and Shop Personnel in the procedures of setting up and installing gas lift equipment.

Coordinate Field Service Reps daily to cover the workload.

Work with sales staff and R&D to propose changes in existing products and the introduction of new ones.

Provide input as to changing market conditions of customers to assist in the development of the marketing strategy of the GBU.

Generate and submit bids to existing and potential customers as needed

Relate field/customers issues to District Manager and assist in the resolution of the issue.

Visit customer worksites to make certain that product is meeting customer expectations.

Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Will occasionally be required to travel to other US ALS Districts to assist in work there.

Skills & Knowledge:

Essential

Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.

High School diploma or higher

Self starter.

High level of motivation.

Ability to work independently as well as work as a member of a team.

Minimum 2-5 years sales experience.

Preferred

JD Edwards knowledge and experience.

Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and / or carrying of objects weighing up to pounds.

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license.

Gas lift design experience.
