Reports to the Senior Program Coordinator for Indirect Education, SNAP-Ed Program. Independently provides statewide professional leadership for the formative and process research, and other campaign developmental guidance; and management and support for the SNAP-Ed Physical Activity Social Marketing Campaign for food stamp eligible audiences. Designs and implements protocols for campaign formation, processes research, collects data, and conducts analyses. Ensures protocols are followed. Is responsible for contracting any services needed for marketing collateral; e.g., television spots for PSAs, marketing design companies for logo development, etc. Establishes statewide partnerships for campaign dissemination and sustainability. Oversees, trains, schedules, and leads students, staff, and volunteers. Collects data necessary for measuring the reach and effectiveness of the campaign, analyzes its impact, strategizes the course for increased campaign saturation, and publishes all results. Troubleshoots and resolves any issues. Prepares and develops the campaign's annual operating budget; completes university, state, and federal reports and funding match paperwork; and gives presentations.

Job Requirements
Requires a bachelor’s degree in nutrition or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Also requires at least two years related experience developing, conducting, and evaluating indirect messaging campaigns that include educational marketing, research, program evaluation, promotions, public relations, and outreach. Requires good public speaking, interpersonal, collaborative, team leadership, communication, analytical, report-writing, budget management, negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to design and conduct outreach for diverse limited-resource populations; the abilities to train, evaluate, and provide supervision; computer literacy to include the internet, social media technologies, and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher; a valid driver’s license; and successful completion of Rutgers University Defensive Driving course after hire. A master’s degree in nutrition or a related heath science and fluency in conversational and written Spanish or other languages are preferred.
