Under general supervision, performs a variety of purchasing functions to ensure processing and delivery of materials to meet the requirements of UAB departments. Oversees and manages the annual contract system. Prepares and awards bids and annual contracts in accordance with established levels of authority, UAB procurement policy and State of Alabama law. Supervises departmental staff in procuring goods and services within established levels of authority.

(Annual Salary Range: $41,032 - $ 52,931 - $64,831) Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement. Licensure / Certifications None required.
