Regional Branch Manager – Salmon, ID

East Idaho Credit Union is hiring a Regional Branch Manager to be responsible for leadership and operational soundness of multiple branches within assigned area. Acts as a liaison with management, branch staff and support departments to ensure consistent compliance with policies and procedures. Trains and coaches branch management within region; trains and coaches branch staff as needed. Recommends operational changes, training needs, expense control, etc. Coordinates and completes projects as assigned. This position is located in Salmon, Idaho and has daily management responsibility for that branch while maintaining communication through various channels with other assigned branches. The job requires travel for in-person visits to each assigned branch on a regular basis.

Some of the essential responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for all operations and member service functions of multiple branches
  • Provides the branch managers/assistant managers with the tools and resources to deliver valuable products and excellent service
  • Handles escalated calls from staff regarding policies and procedures
  • Conducts training for managers/assistant managers and other staff members as needed
  • Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of operational policies and procedures, credit union products and services, as well as consumer, real estate, and small business lending procedures
  • Designs and executes area plan to achieve branch and community goals
  • Maintains frequent communication through multiple channels with assigned branches
  • Actively participates in community service activities, groups and Boards to represent the credit union
  • Provides expertise in all operational functions, staffing, training, development, and sales
  • Responsible for the audit results of each assigned branch; Ensures compliance, procedures and policies are met consistently and at all times
  • Provides leadership to initiate change, influence others, build teams and represent the organization
  • Champions the corporate culture through ongoing reinforcement and demonstration of our core values and mission
  • Conducts individualized, monthly coaching sessions with managers in assigned area; leads and/or participates in monthly meetings with branch staff
  • Performs other duties as directed by VP of Operations

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field and minimum three years in financial industry leadership position; or eight years related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience must include demonstrated leadership skills in financial services

Must have a comprehensive knowledge of credit union/financial operations, lending policies and procedures, security and compliance standards
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, familiarity with PCs/ standard software
Ability to read and understand a profit and loss or basic income statement
Ability to prepare and effectively deliver presentations using applicable support materials
Effectively solve problems, present solutions, and resolve conflicts
Ability to recruit, train, and coach team leaders and personnel to consistently uphold our credit union’s quality and service standards
Personally promotes the highest professional and ethical standards
Travel to various locations is required
