Network AnalystHinsdale( Job Number 125123) Thankyou for considering a position with AHS Information Services Below you will find some information regarding job specifics and requirements for this position In addition to the details below please know that we are looking for someone to join our team and to invest creativity experience and positive energy into this role In return we want to invest in YOU At AHS Information Services we offer job growth opportunities a whole person approach to wellness and healthy living energetic and knowledgeable team members caring managers and a senior leadership team that is passionate about their calling to provide high quality safety focused patient care through compassionate and excellent healthcare business and IT professionals If this sounds you keep reading You may also be interested to know that we were selected as one of the top 100 best places to work in IT by ComputerWorld Magazine in 2011 and Adventist Health System has been selected as a recipient of the Gallup Great Workplace award for 2011 and 2012 Description The intermediate network analyst is one of the most technically skilled employees at the facility They create and maintain a secure network to ensure that HIPPA PCI and other government regulations are met The network analyst has knowledge of all IS projects at the hospital professionally interfaces with hospital leadership and communicates appropriate knowledge back to the corporate office They are creative in the approach to new technologies offer excellent solutions with vision and thought and manages and implements the projects in a professional manner Under minimal supervision plans and evaluates moderately complex network systems and makes recommendations for resources required to maintain and or expand service levels The analyst provides assistance in network planning engineering and architecting along with developing technical standards They provide resolutions for network problems Network analyst develops company policies and procedures to support network operations security and integrity He or she is an ambassador of AHSIS network services in implementing corporate strategy creating and supporting policy and procedures and adhering to change management procedures Qualifications High School Diploma is required College degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent education is highly recommended Cisco CCNA certification is recommended Microsoft certifications recommended Extensive and proven experience may be substituted for certification where appropriate Ability to understand and implement mainframe and LANWAN functionality such as cabling systems hubs switches bridges routers gateways terminal servers and communication servers Worked in a noncomplex environment with multiple closets devices and nodes In depth understanding of LANWAN protocols and protocol interaction 57 years experience in a layer 1 2 and 3 distributed network environment is required 12 years Cisco experience Some VPN multiVLAN and extrabuilding networking Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and enthusiastic can do attitude Ability to work independently is a must Ability to quickly learn systems with little or no documentation Continuous learning of new systems business processes and concepts are a must Must have the ability to work well with people of varying levels of technical abilities Must have project management background with 12 years of project management Excellent oral and written communication skills required We hope you will consider joining our team
