Cargill has an opportunity for a
Maintenance Supervisor at the Nebraska City, Nebraska location
. This position is responsible for overall plant maintenance including scheduling, planning, prioritizing work, purchasing, employee supervision, training and development.
- Supervise plant mechanical, electrical and contract technicians including predictive,
preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Assist in plant repairs and maintenance-Troubleshooting/problem solving plant equipment
- General purchasing of all maintenance related items.
- Conduct employee development including technical training, EHS training, and PMP
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Maintenance related areas
Previous experience in a food/meat processing facility
Computer skills including use of CAD, spreadsheets and understanding of databases.
Strong regulatory knowledge (USDA, OSHA, EPA, etc.)
Good communication skills.
Must be able to work flexible hours, shifts and weekends as needed
Travel at times may be required
BS degree in Engineering
Previous experience in a Ready-To-Eat manufacturing facility
Experience with Maximo or other computerized maintenance management system
Fluent in Spanish, Karan, or Arabic
