A tenure-track or renewable term position, depending on qualifications, as Assistant/Associate Professor, or Instructor of Finance is available for August 2013. The successful candidate’s primary teaching responsibilities will be in the area of Personal Finance and Wealth Management. Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Finance, Real Estate, Insurance, or related field from a nationally or internationally recognized university is required for tenure-track appointment. ABDs will be considered with evidence of completion of degree by August 1, 2013. Renewable term appointment requires a master’s in business.
Tenure-track requires a demonstrated ability to produce publishable research in business-related journals; a record of excellence in teaching; demonstrated ability to teach courses in Finance; and demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Business experience, especially CFP® certification or work toward a CFP® is preferred for tenure-track. Renewable term appointment requires extensive relevant work experience and CFP® certification
