WFF Job Description:
The Warfighter Field Operations CUstomer Support (FOCUS) program is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Financial Controls, Analysis, and Reporting functions for the Afghan Training Support programs in the Southeast Asia Support Mission Operations Product Area in the Business Unit (BU). This position will report to the Business Manager for Afghan Programs. In addition to supporting the Afghan Programs, the position may be called upon, as necessary, to support adjacent/non-adjacent programs. The requirement for Ad hoc analysis should be considered routine.
Responsibilities:
"Cradle to grave" Program Financial Management, from Proposals to Collections. Coordination and pricing of proposals. Baselining awarded efforts and monitoring them against baselines, using EVMS as required. Coordinating and reporting Estimates at Completion (EACs). Financial analysis related to cost management, tracking, reporting, and communication of cost and schedule performance, including CDRL generation and delivery as applicable. Interface with Maximo and SAP to complete program financial transactions. Key activities will include interface with the customer and supplier finance teams in making sure ad-hoc and non-CDRL requests are being met; assisting the Support Mission Finance Manager and Business Unit Controller in the preparation of financial briefs. Position requires the ability to provide top level program planning and control guidance/direction as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management. Interface will be expected at all levels of management, customer, and supplier(s) on cost and schedule issues. Position requires ability to defend proposals, and answer audit questions. Candidate should expect to spend 25% to 50% of their time performing ad-hoc analysis based on Business Unit Controller or Headquarter requests.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or business related field plus 4 or more years of financial analyst experience with an emphasis on project controls/program controls/business management. Alternatively, MBA with 2-3 years of experience.
Program controls, cost analysis, and forecasting skills. Strong Excel skills required with advanced application of functions and formulae. Must be capable of multi-tasking while keeping attention to details. Must possess the ability to work under deadline constraints. Must have strong mathematical and analytical skills. Must have strong interpersonal skills. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to interact with all levels of Raytheon and customer organizations. Must be flexible with work hours to meet customer mission.
