Overview This position is responsible for leading the development of manufacturing processes to support a new product introduction (NPD). Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): process design, work cell layout, lead development of work instructions, and specification/procurement/startup of capital equipment. Candidate will be expected to lead project teams. Responsibilities Candidate must demonstrate/provide the following skill sets:
  • 4 year Engineering Degree (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is strongly preferred) from ABET accredited program.
  • Minimum 2 years leading/supervising Team Members
  • 5 years is preferred in leading/supervising Team Members
  • Exceptional Project Management skill set and experience
  • Excellent history and background in Coaching and Developing Team Members
  • Technical expertise to perform root cause analysis
  • Ability to teach, develop, document, update, and improve work processes
  • Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement improvements quickly.
  • Ability to develop engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Understanding of how to utilize precision measurements.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, different shifts, and travel, on short notice as necessary.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to teach others.
  • Support other company initiatives as required
  • Strong experience in MS Office
  • Experience with SolidWorks is preferred Qualifications Candidate must demonstrate/provide the following skill sets:
