AML/ Fraud Sr. Analyst

PHH Corporation is accountable for establishing a global Anti-Money Laundering/Anti-Fraud program to ensure all business activity remains compliant with regulatory requirements. The setting of consistent compliance standards across business channels is critical in managing AML/BSA and Fraud risk enterprise wide. In the spirit of adhering to AML/BSA requirements, PHH Mortgage maintains dedicated resources to develop, implement, maintain, and report on suspicious or confirmed AML/Fraud activities.
Description of responsibilities
• Skilled analytical research, analysis, and risk assessment activities
• Works independently and interacts with internal/external parties
• Perform comprehensive AML analysis respective of Know Your Client requirements
• Conduct fraud investigation to independently validate loan level data/supporting documentation including but not limited to income/employment, occupancy, credit, property, and short sales
• Conduct investigation relative to Servicing payment transactions history; developing analysis of unusual patterns of activity
• Prepare comprehensive investigation summary in compliance with client and regulatory requirements
• Complete online filing of Suspicious Activity Reports in compliance with AML/BSA requirements
• Ensures effective compliance with all regulatory bodies
• Identifies risk exposure and offers mitigation strategies
• Assist in developing and maintaining comprehensive policies and procedures
• Assist in the develop of AML testing efforts across all business units
• Participate and or complete internal auditing on existing controls as needed (testing effort)
• Work with leadership to ensure implementation of regulatory updates as applicable
• Maintain industry knowledge and awareness relative to AML/BSA and economic sanctions
• Strong understanding of AML/BSA regulatory and compliance requirements
• Min 2 yrs previous AML/BSA experience required
• Min 2 yrs previous fraud investigation experience required
• Proficient in GSE underwriting guidelines/red flags
• Working knowledge of OFAC regulation
• Excellent analytical and research skills
• Ability to independently organize and present findings to both internal and regulatory stakeholders
• Ability to work in detail oriented multi tasking environment while managing to time specific deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
