This is a temporary support job opportunity.
Our full life-cycle systems capabilities include system design, integration and test, software development engineering, and maintenance and integrated logistics support.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Duties and responsibilities which occupy a major portion of time and importance in the job. Incumbent(s) perform one or more of the following duties.)
1. Translates contract requirements into appropriate logistic element tasks which will assist in the satisfactory realization of contract requirements. Develop technical elements in the design of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications.
2. Formulates customer program requirements from consideration of equipment design and other data and recommends appropriate program activities from conceptual stage throughout life cycle of product.
High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of related experience.
AF Technical Order Experience required. Previous TOMA, TDSS, SOF, and C-130 maintenance experience desired.
Must have two (2) years experience in related technical order production such as processing of source data through to publication, familiarity with military standards for TOs, editing, and the inter-filing of TO updates into basic manuals.
Knowledge of JCALS, ATOMS and other databases used to maintain AF libraries. Experience working with AF TOs or other military manuals. Understands configuration management principles. Ability to complete TO System and Advanced System courses. Must be familiar with TO library database management systems. Must have experience in management and/or administrative functions to include word processing, spreadsheets, software, database, and schedule management.
