To learn more about us, please visit our website at www.sbasite.com Summary: Under the direction of the Health and Safety Manager, the Safety Technician will inspect work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, state, local and federal safety policies and regulations.

Essential Duties Responsibilities: Maintain and enforce all SBA and OSHA safe work practices. Perform detailed Jobsite Safety Inspections, specified by his/her direct report Mobilize to regional work locations and spending overnights Be able to interpret Federal, State and Local Environmental, Safety and Health Standards Complete reports and assist Health and Safety Manager with employee training Ability to interpret USDOT regulations Communicate effectively with internal crews and subcontractors Coordinate with management to investigate accidents, as needed Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED 3+ years of experience in the Telecommunications industry Safety background preferred but not required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Driver's License requires FA/CPR Training: Tower Safety and Rescue Training OSHA 10 Hour Training Telecommunications Specific RF Safety Awareness Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
