World Wide Technology, Inc. is seeking to fill a Routing and Switching Delivery Manager position within our Professional Services team. The qualified candidate will need to be located in the Washington, DC area and will manage the daily operations of one of the engineering teams within Professional Services. The manager will work with internal partners and customers to provide qualified staff for our Cisco Routing and Switching engagements. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for developing a strategy and plan to handle future growth in their technical vertical through capacity planning, training, and process improvement. The successful manager will also provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the engineers as they execute their assigned engagements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide leadership to the Routing and Switching engineering team
Provide staffing and utilization management for Professional Services engagements
Perform capacity planning for the pipeline of engineering engagements
Coach and mentor engineering staff on Professional Services best practices
Develop and maintain staff training plans to ensure skills coverage of project pipeline
Serve as the engineering management escalation path to customers
Recruit, interview, and hire top industry talent to grow the organization
Build, maintain, and utilize subcontract relationships to level capacity fluctuations
Complete performance evaluations for Route/Switch engineering personnel
Ensure compliance with WWT’s Delivery Methodology
Evaluate processes and recommend changes to drive higher quality and profitability

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 years technical management experience, preferably in a Professional Services environment.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Prior experience managing engineering teams or technical staff in a project execution capacity.
Ability to work independently and solve customer-facing problems.
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
Knowledge of Cisco Technology and R/S solutions or Cisco certification a plus but not required.
Valid Driver’s License.
Able to obtain Federal Security Clearances.
