Jefferson Trail Treatment Center for Children, located
in Charlottesville, Virginia is seeking a licensed, or licensed
eligible Therapist to provide psychotherapy services for residents
age 13 to 22 and their families.

Located in Central
Virginia near the Blue Ridge Mountains, Richmond, Washington DC, and
the University of Virginia, Charlottesville offers a variety of
cultural and outdoor activities to its residents

Jefferson Trail strives to be a provider of excellence in the
comprehensive care and treatment of adolescents in residential care.

Key Responsibilities:
psychotherapy services for residents to include individual, family
and group therapy scheduling and facilitation of treatment team
reviews and documentation.
Attends all treatment teams for
assigned residents.
Attends weekly clinical supervision.
Coordinates multifamily/group/family education group.
On call/weekend coverage
Completes all program
notes within the same day of session.
psychosocial assessment within same day of admission.
charge tickets daily and turns in to DCS.
Monthly treatment
team reports are due at 12p.m. on the day prior to treatment team.

Other duties as assigned based on the needs of the facility.


Education & Experience : Minimum of a
Master’s Degree in human services field (i.e. psychology,
social work, counseling, education) and a minimum of one year recent
experience with appropriate population preferred

License/Certifications: Licensed with or license
eligible for LPC or LCSW in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Physical Demands: Must be able to:
Carry out
CPR, if needed
Assist in management of aggressive behavior

Skills: A combination of mental health experience
and relevant education to deliver psychotherapy services to
consumers. The required knowledge, skills, and abilities must be
documented and observable in the application form and interview and
can be verified by additional references.
