Raytheon is currently seeking a
that will provide support to operational activities, to include coordination of software installs, upgrades and installations. Requires strict adherence to configuration management procedures and processes. Will provide support to troubleshooting of system anomalies related to software, system configuration, COTS, network interfaces and operating system resources. Will include the review of system logs to preemptively identify system problems. Also support the investigation of system anomalies with the appropriate site/factory personnel, including collecting and providing relevant data/logs. Need to be able to support outside normal working hours and provide 24/7 on-call response to support software problem resolution. Will support the development and maintenance of system tools and process documentation.
Must have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or Math or possess an equivalence of 10 years minimum experience in lieu of a degree
Must have at least 2 years of LINUX/UNIX experience with RHEL 5.5 and 6.1
Must have a demonstrated software design, development, test and troubleshooting skills
Must have 2 years of LINUX/UNIX experience with RHEL 5.5 and 6.1
Must be a focused self starter with excellent time management skills, interpersonal and team building skills
Must have the ability to act quickly and logically under stressful situations
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship and existing SSBI Security Clearance required.

2 years of Visual BASIC
Familiarity with Tcl/tk, Eclipse, shell scripts, XML, C++, Access and/or Oracle databases
Familiarity with software/CM processes and experience in an operations and maintenance environment
Reputation of establishing good customer relationships
Demonstrated organizational and coordination skills
Ability to learn new systems and languages through self study
