The FM is responsible for growing fitness revenue through the sale of fitness memberships and other fitness related

products. The FM directly reports to the General Manager (GM). The FM will also work closely with and receive direction

and guidance from the Fitness Director (FD). The FM manages the personal trainers, instructors and lead trainers, if any

(FM team).

· Team performance and effectiveness

· Member satisfaction through execution of the Ten Essentials

· Fitness revenue

· Member experience through fitness products

· Profit and loss management and financial results

Minimum Requirements
· 2-3 years of management experience in a fitness, hospitality or retail environment, including direct experience in

profit and loss management, revenue generation and people management

· Physical demands include ability to walk through all areas of clubs, climbing stairs (where applicable), repetitive

squatting, bending and lifting (e.g., 40 . 60 lbs.), restacking of weights, moving of equipment as necessary and

ability to demonstrate other exercise movements as part of a personal fitness workout

· Must be able to work at least 50 hours per week (including 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, typically 10

am . 8 pm) and a combination of open and close shifts the remainder of the week; and/or other hours necessitated

by business need, as scheduled by the GM

· BA/ BS degree (in a fitness related field preferred) and a Personal Training Certification by a TSI authorized provider

· AED/CPR Certified
