Greeting the hotel guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Parking and securing cars by locking doors, closing all hatches and rolling the windows up. Retrieving cars in a timely manner; providing shuttle service to and from the airport and assisting bell attendants and guest services staff as needed.
Regular and Punctual Attendance
Ability to adhere to Peabody grooming standards.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, and reach on a daily basis.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests regarding hotel and area information.
Ability to interact with guests and other employees in a courteous, empathetic and discrete manner.
Ability to read and write.
Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
Ability to lift, carry and store in overhead areas approximately 50 pounds and push and/or pull a luggage cart weighing approximately 200 pounds.
Ability to comply with van driver and/or valet parker requirements.
Possession of a valid drives license, and an acceptable driving record.
Ability to sustain direct contact with the public; must establish high degree of customer service, (smile, eye contact, positive personal presentation, etc.), and high volume interaction with guests and staff.
Greeting the guests, welcoming them to The Peabody.
Assists hotel guests by parking vehicle in hotel parking lot.
Securing the vehicle by rolling all windows up and locking all doors.
Running to pick up vehicle and bringing the vehicle to the motor entrance as quickly as possible.
Fill out the tickets clearly and hang in the appropriate place on the board.
To perform any other tasks as assigned by management.
