Job Description:
The candidate will provide day to day technical assistance to the user community and be able to perform/lead on special projects, CSR's and engineering efforts. He/she will work diligently with other LM departments in continuing to improve the efficiency of desktop support. The candidate will design, develop, program, install, implement, conduct research for, and maintain internal data processing computer systems and utilities, and/or for customers on a contract basis. He/she will analyzes internal or external customers' needs, and determine equipment and software requirements for solutions to problems by means of automated systems; develops customized solutions to customer/user problems. The candidate will establish system parameters and formats; ensure hardware/software compatibility; and coordinate and/or modify user requirements in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities. He/she may make programming changes as required to adapt or enhance existing or new programs and/or utilities and maintain supplied software packages for internal users. The candidate will analyze new hardware to determine its need or application in the existing or proposed system; advise on new techniques and estimated costs associated with new or revised programs and utilities, taking into consideration personnel, time, and hardware requirements, and make trade-off analyses; develop general and detailed documentation describing system specifications and operating instructions; and revise existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.

Candidate must possess a Public Trust clearance
Must be able to perform new installs, breakfix, have remedy expertise, Microsoft office suite experience and PC hardware and other software skills

Bachelor’s degrees from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master’s degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
