We are seeking a Senior Engineer, Electrical Engineer to support our Washington, DC office.
Provide overall management and coordination of electrical engineering efforts for electrical, and the resolution of technical issues associated with these systems as assigned by the Major Area Integration Team Lead (MAIT). Associated with this task includes providing guidance to the MAIT and mentoring of junior engineers, reviewing correspondence for technical quality, responsible for and writing and routing letters closing commitments, and interfacing with the front office, design yard and technical warrant holders.
Technical liaison with Strategic Programs, Naval Reactors, and the United Kingdom, and coordination of joint meeting efforts for program and design reviews as assigned by the MAIT.
Integration support and technical liaison for PMS397 for the development, design, integration, and testing of HM&E components and weapons system integration activities for Ohio Replacement including the review of warfare systems GFI for ship integration including electric power and EMI requirements.
Provide integral support and technical liaison for critical ship systems for Ohio Replacement, specifically the development and integration of Ship Control, circuit D, Lighting and Receptacle systems, Impressed Current Cathodic Protection System, Battery, and the Emergency Diesel Generator.
Provide software development support for Ship Control as required by the MAIT
