Remarketing Supervisor - Lewisville, TX
Purpose and Function of Job:
The purpose of this position is to provide quality and efficient customer service through the daily management of a team of up to 12 employees. Responsible for hiring, leading, managing, developing and training a team of remarketing specialists and for directing their efforts to attain maximum results related to the remarketing of vehicle returns.
Ensure compliance with Company Policies and Procedures as well as related Regulatory requirements. Maintains accurate and current records as required.
This position is also responsible for assisting the Remarketing Manager and the Site Manager with development and analysis of on going training.
Works with the team and other supervisors to ensure that the daily workload of the center is completed.
Principle duties and responsibilities of this job classification:
Train and develop Remarketing Specialists through one on one coaching, monitoring and audit.
Allocate and Monitor Team Work Assignments.
Resolve escalated individual customer situations involving Dealer or Lesee Buyout, repossessions, legal action and fees owed disputes.
Manage Cross Functional Relationships.
Prepare and analyze reports to include trends and summaries.
Meet quality standards and metrics, as well as achieve compliance and settlement goals.
Take appropriate actions up to authority limits as established by policy
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Type of prior related experience:
Four or more years experience in the financial services, auto or remarketing industry required, prior supervisory experience preferred.

Education level and related experience:
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to use judgment and business knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions
- Excellent Customer Service skills that support the Ally brand pillars
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and listening
- Highly skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution
- Strong ability to multitask
- Highly motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Cross functional business knowledge
- Intermediate Word and Excel, basic Access and Outlook.
High school diploma or GED required. At least 1 year in the financial services, auto or remarketing industry preferred.
