The Branch Sales Manager reports to the VP of Sales and is responsible for growing the Company in a purposeful and intelligent way to positively promote the company brand within the company, as well as the real estate and mortgage industry, and the community as a whole. This objective is accomplished by utilizing creativity, experience, knowledge, company resources and processes to develop a department that will promote purposeful growth of Mortgage Advisory Group and continue to prosper a strong foundation for outward development of the Company, its people and brand.
Through ongoing and comprehensive recruiting efforts the Branch Sales Manager is responsible for locating, tracking, contacting, interviewing and on-boarding qualified loan originators. Understand the brand, the standards and the vision and mission of Mortgage Advisory Group. Assist in development of Ambassador campaigns with industry affiliates, real estate brokerages and community connections to prosper a positive brand and attract opportunities for growth and development. Maintain a full team of highly motivated, self-sustained, top producing Mortgage Advisors who operate with integrity, accountability, and professionalism. Promote in-house product in assigned territory through building loan originator relationships, understanding in-house product and pricing, and understanding industry product and pricing. Establish a managerial presence and a culture of accountability with Mortgage Advisors by making them responsible for adhering to the policies, procedures, professionalism, and production requirements of the company. Mentorship and skill development of Mortgage Advisors through a combination of goal-setting, training, counseling, performance management, and team building.
High School diploma or G.E.D. Actively hold the position of Mortgage Advisor or Loan Originator. Has at least 5 years of mortgage banking/broker experience and knowledge of branch operations. Has 3-5 years of supervisory experience and refined leadership skills in a large retail branch environment. Has 2-5 recruiting experience. Has 2-5 years of customer services experience; problem solving skills are essential. Working knowledge of P&L management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to a wide variety of individuals in a professional and mature manner under all circumstances. Intermediate knowledge of the real estate industry. Organized and independent worker who is able to take initiative and follow through with ease and great results. Enthusiastic team player with ability to work productively alone or with team members. Computer proficiency skills to include work in Windows based applications, database applications, and loan origination software.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. Experience working in Ellie Mae's Encompass, Bankers Edition.
