To competently interpret the patient's history, perform a complete diagnostic evaluation, communicate findings, and develop treatment plan; to initiate therapy and progress the patient's through the treatment plan; to educate and counsel patient, family members, and staff, depending on their needs. Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
MS/MA in Speech Pathology. Licensed in the State of Ohio. Certificate of Clinical Competence.
Basic knowledge of speech/language development and disorders, articulation, phonological disorders, neurological speech/language disorders, swallowing and voice. Knowledge of speech therapy laws for Ohio, ethics, conducts and mandates under ASHA.
KIND and LENGTH of EXPERIENCE
Completion of Clinical Fellowship year. Extensive supervised experience with specific age related therapy (pediatric or adult) depending on the facility of hire. Additional Job Information
