The Account Executive is responsible for prospecting, soliciting, quoting and selling new group benefits and commercial insurance accounts. Continuing to counsel and market to existing clients professionally is another essential function of the position. Specific sales goals and service responsibilities are determined during quarterly planning meetings with the Executive Vice President for this position. Meets service and sales standards with timelines and quality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers.
Develop new business leads.
Consult with clients on overall insurance programs.
Maintain good carrier relationships.
Cross-sell agency services.
I. E DUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or minimum of 4 years insurance agency or company experience specializing in relevant insurance discipline; or minimum of 4 years equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in sales. Advanced degree or insurance designation a plus. Strong product and carrier experience preferred . Previous relevant professional experience preferred .

- Wisconsin Insurance license
