As a member of the Direct Marketing Center of Excellence, the Marketing Campaign Manager is responsible for the planning, execution and project management of private label and bankcard lifecycle and acquisition campaigns across multiple delivery channels including direct mail, email, online, and statements. Together with peers in Client Services, this role is responsible for delivering Gold Standard direct marketing initiatives to help achieve GE Capital Retail Finance’s growth objectives.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage tactical execution of multiple Direct Marketing Programs for clients as assigned.
  • Ensure campaigns meet client requirements, GE and client brand standards, legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide input on direct marketing program design. Serve as a resource on best practices, CRM strategies, program implications and experimental design concepts.
  • Liaise internally to manage information flow ensuring timely and efficient campaign execution.
  • Ensure campaign quality by adhering to established execution and audit processes for Creative Design, Legal Review, File Selection and Print Production
  • Provide "agency-like" service to client marketing and product marketing teams.
  • Identify process improvements targeting creative, cost savings, cycle time reduction, staff productivity.
  • Proactively communicate issues to client teams and coordinate solution implementation

    Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business
  • 3+ years progressive experience in direct marketing or advertising in lue of bachelor's degree.

    Desired Characteristics
  • Proven leadership skills as demonstrated on-campus, in community, or in work environment.
  • Experience in file selection, creative, email or print production management.
  • Financial services or marketing internship experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with tactical execution across multiple channels including direct mail, email, mobile, statements and event planning.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, ability to support multiple clients and the ability to work effectively across a highly matrixed organization.
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent project management skills – ability to multi-task and utilize resources to execute tasks within a deadline oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems, develop new tactics and address implementation obstacles.
