RESPONSIBLE FOR KNOWLEDGE OF INVENTORY LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT PLANT. RECEIVES, COUNTS, STORES, AND TRANSFERS STOCK ITEMS IN DESIGNATED AREAS USING A HAND-TRUCK, DOLLY, OR FORKLIFT. VERIFIES COMPUTER COUNTS AGAINST PHYSICAL COUNTS OF INVENTORY ITEMS, INVESTIGATES DISCREPANCIES, NOTIFIES SUPERVISOR OF DISCREPANCIES AND/OR ADJUSTS FOR ERRORS. MAINTAINS A SAFE LEVEL OF INVENTORY FOR WORKSTATIONS ON VARIOUS LINES. RESPONSIBLE TO NOTIFY SUPERVISOR OF PARTS SHORTAGES OR ANY UNUSUAL CONDITIONS THAT MAY CREATE DELAY IN PRODUCTION. RESPONSIBLE FOR KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER SYSTEM. CONDUCTS INVENTORY STOCK LOCATION QUERIES AND RECORDS INVENTORY MOVEMENTS. KEEPS FACILITIES, MATERIAL AND WORK AREA ORDERLY, EXERCISING CARE IN USE. MAINTAINS GOOD HOUSEKEEPING PRACTICES. CONFORMS TO ALL SAFETY AND QUALITY REQUIREMENTS.
