** Senior Electrical Engineer involved in the verification of high-performance digital ASICs
and FPGAs, designed into signal processing products
** The engineer is a member of an experienced design group, employing best practice design
methodologies, supporting multiple products corporate-wide
** Requirements capture
** Test case development
** Testbench architecture
** Requirements verification
** Familiar with best practice chip-level verification techniques, languages and libraries (e.g.
SystemVerilog, OVM/VMM, functional coverage, SystemC)
** Proficiency using latest ASIC / FPGA simulation tools (e.g. Questasim, ncsim)
** Familiarity with revision control concepts and tools (e.g. Clearcase, Subversion)
** Ability to work with minimal supervision, on a diverse engineering team, matrixed into projects
with aggressive schedules and frequent milestones
** Strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to document and present one's
work and status
** Unix, scripting, C/C++, Perl
** Simulation acceleration systems and methods and HW / SW co-simulation
** Familiarity with digital signal processing concepts, simulation & analysis tools (e.g. Matlab,
Simulink, Cat-C, SPW)
** Design for Test (DFT) and manufacturability issues
** U.S. Citizenship required due to the potential for classified work requiring a security
Bachelor's Degree in applicable engineering or science field, and six
years of related experience, or, in the absence of a bachelor's degree,
twelve years of related experience.
