Sodexo is seeking a Facilities/Engineering Operations Manager for Phoenixville Hospital. The facility is a 450,000 square foot accredited hospital, located just outside of the city of Philadelphia.

The Assistant Director of the Engineering Department will oversee the daily operations of the maintenance and plant operations department within a hospital setting. Daily operations include customer service, staff development, regulatory compliance (JCAHO, NFPA, etc.), preventive and corrective maintenance, and project management. The Ideal candidate will have 1-3 years experience in managing a maintenance department in a healthcare organization along with the technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, & plumbing systems.

Position Summary:

Number two position at the account with responsibility for all operations. Assumes GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Supervises managers. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services
