The Global Relationship Selling Business Process Engineer (BPE) will specialize and serve as subject matter expert from a business process perspective in one or more of the following areas within the program team:

  • Account Management
  • Customer Centric Marketing
  • Sales Enablement
  • Simplification
  • Acquisitions and integration
  • Other CRM /Sales processes
Key Responsibilities:
Working under the direction of a program manager for a work-stream, the successful candidate will be responsible for a thorough understanding and full documentation of all current state business processes within the functional area of their team. They will define, document and confirm all future state processes within these areas and ensure the business is fully prepared for and understands the changes the CRM and updated Sales process represents to that area.

Responsible to fully assess all impacts the various process and system changes have on the department or organizations that are represented in their work stream, including

  • organization structure
  • headcount requirements
  • addition or elimination of roles
And ensuring appropriate business controls (i.e. separation of duties, etc.) are fully accounted for in the overall process and organizational changes in accordance with the CRM objectives.

The BPE will facilitate and participate in workshops and conference room pilots. They will set up and frame effective workshops, facilitate appropriate discussions, consensus and decisions within those forums, and ensure all business requirements (future state capabilities, use cases and business processes) within the program team or work-stream are gathered and documented on a timely and complete basis, usually in the form of a business requirements document.

Ensure all critical business requirements have been reviewed with stakeholders and represented appropriately in all corresponding system requirements specifications documents or other necessary documentation

Accountable for all program related future state business changes are represented in a coordinated User Acceptance Testing (UAT) event prior to launch. These activities include establishing critical business scenarios that require full vetting in the UAT process, ensuring that all scenarios and scripts are understood by all participants and documented correctly and completely by the UAT team. Activities also include participating in the UAT event in support of the business, IT and other program team members.

Manage and drive feature sets of the process deployments and releases for CRM related systems and technologies to maximize productivity, accuracy and drive improvements to customer experience measures.

Identify issues/process improvement opportunities for workgroups and departments to improve customer experience or productivity, and recommend technology and process related solution concepts to address.

Knowledge and skills

  • Very strong organizational skills, with ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • Obtains and analyzes data to complete business case and cost/benefit analysis, compares options.
  • Can map out processes and use the full business process improvement tool suite to determine areas for improvement.
  • Is proficient at creating business cases/presentations to sell leadership on recommended changes at the senior management level as well as with peers.
  • Leads broad efforts of cross-functional scope and interacts with senior management.
  • Can create project plans, determine milestones, and drive projects to meet agreed upon milestone dates.
  • Able to multi-task to manage both tactical and strategic work streams relating to workgroup.
  • Can handle multiple strategic projects while working day-to-day tasks.
  • Translates business objectives into department goals/plans and implementations.
  • Involved in making complex decisions which may have company-wide impact.
  • Uses good professional judgment to balance and make trade-offs on multiple priorities and makes recommendations to management around priority setting/planning.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years of relevant work experience
  • Preferred BPI or other process discipline certification
  • Preferred expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications in support of project management tasks, including Microsoft Project and Visio
