Minimum Requirement - Primary Education :
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, mathematics, public finance, accounting or a related field.
Minimum Requirement - Primary Experience :
Must have three years of experience with a financial institution, corporation, college, university, state, local or federal government in financial analysis, economic analysis, tax administration, financial planning, cost analysis, credit analysis or loan analysis, accounting, or a related field.
Education Substitution :
Graduate study in economics, business administration, mathematics, public finance or a related field will substitute for the required experience on a year for year basis.
Experience Substitution :
Experience in any of the above areas will substitute for the required education on a year for year basis.

Description of Job Duties
Position is responsible for analyzing issues and advising senior staff in the design and marketing of the state's tax-exempt bonds and implementing the state investment policies.

BUDGET AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Characteristics of the Class :
Analyzes issues and advises senior staff in the design and marketing of the state's tax-exempt bonds. Implements the state's investment policies to include execution of daily investments. Provides input to the consensus forecasting group, predicting revenue and resources from data received and analyzed. Assists in maintaining the computer model and updates in a timely manner for current availability of information; and performs other duties as required.

Work is performed primarily in an office setting.
