Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is a world renowned organization dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of patient care, research, and education.
Assists supervisor in preparation of cell products for clinical research trials by performing such procedures as: fluorescent staining, cell separation, prepare cell suspension from tumors, cell counting, EBV spontaneous & laboratory transformation, culture antigen-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes, freeze and store cell products, dilution analysis and animal work. Assists in lab maintenance by insuring availability of adequate supplies for scheduled experiments. Insures that lab equipment is in working condition.Documents manufacturing process. Conducts literature searches as needed.
BA/BS in biology or natural science and at least one (1) year of laboratory experience. Must have knowledge of cell culture techniques and animal work. Strong computer skills essential.
Hours 9AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday
Please Note: Working with radioactive isotopes, blood products and live viruses is required for this position.
