Santé Home Health and Rehabilitation Services is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Office Assistant to provide support in the Home Health office. The Assistant is responsible for scheduling meetings or appointments, organizing files, managing incoming calls, performing filing processes and providing other various clerical tasks.
General responsibilities:
Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
Receive and direct visitors and clients
General clerical duties including; photo copying, faxing and mailing
Maintenance of electronic and hard copy filing system
Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence
Maintain office supply inventories
Assists in the coordination of interdisciplinary team services.
Assists in the organization/scheduling of meetings, appointments, and any other needed gatherings for Director of Clinical Services/Administrator.
Performs the imperative Orders Management process to assist with agency timely billing.
Creates and breaks down patient charts and performs all office filing.
Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient related information (PHI).
Serves as a resource person to field employees by providing support with emails, phone calls, and research as needed for performance of their job duties.
Develops a cooperative relationship and communicates effectively and professionally with physicians and physician offices.
Performance of In-House Patient Satisfaction Surveys. Gathers data and reports any problem relating to patient care. Compiles results for presentation in the Performance Improvement meeting.
Assists with the Agency’s ongoing performance improvement (PI) program.
Monitors and inventories medical equipment. Responsible for signing out and tracking equipment for clinical staff members. Also, monitoring equipment for necessary maintenance.
Responsible for the maintenance of the emergency management binder on a daily basis.
Ensures that documentation is completed in accordance with Agency policy and scanned into the medical record as needed.

Minimum qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook required.
Minimum of one (1) year administrative experience in a medical setting, or current enrollment in a Medical Office Program required.
Administrative experience in a home health setting preferred.
Physical and Working Conditions (with or without accommodation):

Ability to work for extended period of time while sitting and/or being involved in physical activity.
Moderate lifting.
