Under direct supervision and following established policies, procedures and methods, performs routine nuclear medicine imaging studies as directed and prescribed by a physician licensed to possess radioactive materials. Prepares and administers required radiopharmaceuticals and performs radionuclide imaging of organs and organ systems, dynamic studies and assays of body fluid and tissue, including in-vitro and in-vivo radioassays. Records, analyzes and prepares data and image enhancements for diagnostic interpretation by physician.

Current registration or eligibility and certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required.

Work requires the level of knowledge typically acquired through completion an Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology and one to two years experience.

Work requires the analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in-depth, experienced-based knowledge.

Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
