Job Description:

manufacturing and distribution of specialized concrete

POSITION SUMMARY:
Key position in manufacturing oversees a variety of
duties, including but not limited to receiving,
scheduling, and cycle counting. Monitors inventory
levels of R/M and WIP to accurately reflect
needs/seasonalities. Works in concert with manufacturing
staff to improve processes and reduce costs while
maximizing productivity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assess safety stock of R/M and WIP parts regularly
  • Acts as a liason between Customer Service/Sales and
the Shop
  • Determines, manages and communicates lead times for
all products manufactured in the plant
  • Initiates, coordinates and reconciles all cycle
counts
  • Reconciles and manages negative bin reconciliation
  • Manage appropriate planner workbenches
  • Loads departments to as to achieve the maximum
balance between manpower, inventory and customer
service.
  • Inventory analysis reports as required

  • Detail-oriented
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to analyze data and formulate into a plan
  • Strong interpersonal skills
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
5 years or relevant manufacturing experience or a
related Bachelor of Science Degree

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Microsoft Word, Excel
Microsoft PowerPoint a plus
Ability to both learn and listen

  • Low physical effort required to sit, stand at files,

in person and on the telephone.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Inside manufacturing office and shop floor.
  • Exposure to production machinery noise and dust on
occasion.
  • Personal protective equipment as required. (Safety
shoes, safety glasses, etc)
  • May be exposed to heat and cold weather on occasion.
