This position assists the Finance Department and Executive Management in analyzing and reporting financial data. In addition, this role is integral in completing a plethora of major strategic projects and analyses that will assist management, the partners and/or other users in decision making.

Major responsibilities will include:
Prepare and distribute approved weekly and monthly financial and analytical reports to department heads

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual variance analysis of actual results versus budget or other forecasted amounts

Support the Workers’ Compensation Department by the preparation of dashboards, commission statements, billing/payer analysis, process review and other ad hoc analysis

Prepare operational metric reports

Perform analytical analysis and review results for accuracy based on data provided, and also for reasonableness based on trends and changing conditions. Prepare monthly analytics and reporting and other ad hoc reporting as needed

Assist in the monthly production of accounting results ensuring that monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting is accurately stated according to internal and external reporting requirements

Work with colleagues and other business areas to support new business initiatives and participate in other projects and business initiatives as assigned by senior management

Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile special reports

Communicate with co-workers, management and others in a courteous and professional manner

Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions including but not limited to confidentiality (HIPAA) requirements (patient files and personal information)

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Accounting or a related field required

MBA preferred

At least 2-3 years of progressively challenging experience in financial planning, financial analysis, budgeting, reimbursement or accounting experience

Extremely strong analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to not only maintain, but design complex Excel spreadsheets utilizing advanced functions

Intermediate to expert user in all other Microsoft Office Suite software

Top notch communication and interpersonal skills
