Statistical Market Research Analysts (CONTRACT) Norwalk, CT
Our client, a Ct-based global commercial finance company, seeks several Statistical Market Research Analysts to support the Customer Insights team on primary research analysis and database modeling. Analyst must have 7+ years of proven experience conducting and leading Marketing research analytics function and can demonstrate expertise in segmentation modeling, perceptual mapping, factor reduction, discrete choice modalities, and key driver analysis. Note: this is a long term contractor role and no relocation or Visa sponsorship will be offered.
Basic Requirements:
7+ years of market research analytics and modeling.
Expert knowledge of standard statistical packages including but not limited to: SPSS, SAS,
Expert knowledge of all standard multivariate and exploratory approaches
Wants to learn, understand and appropriately apply new approaches (as in Bayesian analysis or Jack-knifing)
Ability to manage all operational research analytic components including: Data cleaning, validation and weighting: Tab & Analysis plans
Some programming background: (Visual Basic or C++)
Data precision: incorporates internal data checks and is a quality champion
Ability to synthesize research data and identify key insights
Excellent presentation skills, ability to write and deliver highly engaging presentations of findings to clients
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Naturally inclined to pay attention to details and to always find a way to execute a challenge
Ability to share knowledge and mentor and train junior research staff
Team player and willingness to roll up ones sleeves and contribute to a growing organization and its changing needs
Masters, degree in statistics or related field desired but not required
