      The Financial Information Repository (FIR) is a new application being developed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury that will be a platform to provide summarized, aggregated, and detailed financial information, free of charge, through a robust business intelligence web front-end. The goal is to enable users to analyze financial data trends, patterns, and insights related to federal government accounting, collections, debt management, and payments through interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations for improved decision-making. FIR, through its public portal, will support transparency for the purposes of achieving accountability by providing easier access to publically eligible financial information to the public. FIR also will provide the opportunity for collaboration and information sharing among agencies, the Fiscal Service, Office of Management and Budget and Government Accountability Office, Federal Reserve Banks, and other partners.

      The Agency Support Analyst will be part of the team responsible for customer outreach for the FIR. They will be accountable for compiling reports and tracking progress according to targets for outreach and onboarding efforts. They will also assist with writing unit procedures, helping troubleshoot user issues related to enrollment, and assist with educating the help desk agents on FIR.

      Job Duties
      ·
      Ensure accurate tracking, analysis and reporting of outreach activities
      ·
      Support onboarding marketing and communication efforts
      ·
      Assist with the development and writing of unit procedures
      ·
      Compile information into reports for Treasury, external customers, and the project management team
      ·
      Assist with troubleshooting escalated user enrollment issues
      ·
      Act as a liaison between FIR account specialists and help desk support, which includes training help desk agents on application functionality and informing them of changes
      ·
      Develop a strong working relationship with FIR team and stakeholders
      ·
      Actively participate in sharing business knowledge with other business units
      ·
      Support agency onboarding efforts
      ·
      Lead or assist in ad-hoc reporting or projects as needed
      Job Qualifications/Skills
      ·
      Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
      ·
      2-3 years experience in the application of advanced analytical skills
      ·
      Strong organizational skills
      ·
      Familiarity with problem resolution processes
      ·
      Ability to develop, process and assess procedures and processes
      ·
      Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and understanding of other Microsoft Office products; Microsoft Access experience is a plus
      ·
      Ability to rapidly learn new materials and applications is necessary
      ·
      Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and shifting priorities
      ·
      Strong oral and written communication skills
      ·
