JOB SUMMARY: Seeking Experienced Quality Control Managers and/or Quality Control Supervisors for Federal Projects. This position will require specific past performance and references as an approved QC manager/supervisor on one or more Federal Contracts. Current position is in the Fort Lewis, WA area, but applicant must be willing to be deployed to other locations in the future. This position has overall responsibility for reporting directly to Corporate Management and the Client and verification that we meet all quality standards on our projects. The Quality Control Manager plans, coordinates, and oversees implementation of DPS's Corporate and Project specific quality control programs. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Depending on size, complexity and number of simultaneously jobs, this position supervises project Quality Control Supervisors and Quality Control Inspectors. QUALIFICATIONS: To successfully perform this job, this position must perform all duties and responsibilities accurately and satisfactorily while complying with specific deadlines. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to satisfactorily perform this job. COMPUTER SKILLS *Must have working knowledge of computers and strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows XP. REASONING ABILITY *Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. *Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. *Strong ability to reason with client's corporate quality assurance personnel and technical experts, and field quality assurance, technical authorities and construction supervisory representatives. **Relocation fees not available. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE *Four (4) College degree in engineering, architecture or construction management. * Must have a current US Army Corp of Engineers CQM Certificate* A minimum of ten (10) years in the construction field.*A minimum of five (5) years experience years supervisory as Quality Control Manager.
