The Director of Study Abroad and International Projects is a liaison for MCPHS faculty trip leaders, including coordinating study abroad programs, travel courses, and service learning trips for all MCPHS students going abroad; provides strategic planning of study, service abroad and special international programs; assists the Marketing department in the development and delivery of sales and marketing plans, sales tools, marketing campaigns and multi-channel marketing communication; helps to position MCPHS in targeted international markets; works with the international recruitment staff to develop a reciprocal marketing/frontline information flow; assists with organizing international guest visits and fielding student questions on immigration matters; serves as a liaison to the Colleges of the Fenway Global Education Opportunity Center; represents MCPHS at study abroad committee meetings; travels internationally. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor.

Required: A master’s degree in a related field; a minimum of five years’ experience in Study Abroad, three in a management position; training and experience in International Marketing; prior experience in business and budget management; experience working with the international community in higher education; fluent in a second language, Spanish or Chinese preferred; experience managing web content and social media; strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and intercultural skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Outlook; must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds and cultural traditions.

Desired: Experience living or studying abroad; prior experience working in a college setting and working with Studio Abroad.
