We are currently seeking a full time CNT instructor for our Rocky Hill campus. Qualify candidate will be responsible for providing quality instruction to students through well prepared classes, relevant assignments, fair assessment of learning, clear documentation of student progress, and support of the academic success for at-risk students. We do not require prior teaching experience , we will train you. Below you ywill find a few duties and responsibilities listed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Present facilitative, enthusiastic, well prepared, organized, and clear lectures and classroom activities consistent with the course syllabus and school policy.
Provide each student with clear course expectations, evaluations and timelines.
Continually promote the development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, professionalism, computation, problem solving and decision making.
Challenge, engage, serve and communicate with students to encourage the participation in learning while maintaining mutual value and respect.
Provide students with timely information and feedback on his/her academic progress relative to quizzes, tests, homework and projects.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student academic and attendance performance.
To maintain contact with the employers assigned to him/her by the Education Supervisor (PAC meetings), keeping the curriculum content up to date, and for the acquisition of equipment on which students can work.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certificates in A+, Net+, Security+ and MCP
- Minimum HS/GED with two certificates in specialty areas and six (6) years of documentable occupational work experience.
- Qualified candidates with an Associates or Bachelors degree, certificates in two (2) specialty areas and a minimum of two (2) years documentable occupational work experience.
Instructors receive 4 weeks paid vacation.
This is a salaried role, but any hours worked over 40 hours/week are paid at straight time overtime.
