Jackson Thornton Technologies, a leading provider of information technology and managed services in the Southeast, is seeking an experienced IT Consultant. This is a new position added due to growth of our office near Nashville, TN. Jackson Thornton Technologies is an entity of Jackson Thornton, a well-established CPA and consulting firm with an outstanding reputation for quality and client service.This position will be responsible for providing support to clients located in Central Tennessee. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:·Providing mid-level IT support to our clients in the professional services industries.·Providing preventative maintenance services through remote access and on-site visits.·Installation and configuration of hardware, software, and server/network peripherals.·Providing effective technical assistance and support to end users. This individual will be included in on-call rotation for after hours and weekend support.
Bachelors degree in a Computer Science field, or relevant work experience with focus on IT support and customer service Support experience with network products such as Microsoft servers, firewalls, routers, switches, and business software Excellent communication skills Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple demands Excellent client service skills Industry server/network certifications preferred
